Being halfway is always an interesting place to be. Based on these photos it’s clear to see we’re halfway between Boston and NY.  In life, I hope to consider that at 40, I’m halfway. You have lots to look back on and lots to look forward to.  It’s really not such a bad place to be. I know little about football or any professional sport for that matter. I have always opted to play rather than watch. The only part of the Super Bowl I caught was a few minutes of the halftime show on youtube.  Madonna, you made the Black Eyed Peas look like half the talent you are.  But I enjoyed watching this crowd on a frigid New England morning. It was like Halloween came to Durham, CT in February and everyone chose to wear football costumes.  ESPN came to town highlighting our “Half-wayness” but surely not our half-heartedness. Kids and grown-ups alike got their 15 minutes of fame. Just in case you missed it, you can have another look here.

Wow! I never realized that Durham was the epicenter of the universe! Too cool! Great community spirit!
