This is one of the only photos I took this week. The title “Comfort Friends” comes to mind as their friendship seems like a good bowl of spaghetti and meatballs on a Sunday night. I have spent the week seeking interesting photos and keep coming up short. I have had a hard time seeing the good photos right in front of me. The week after Christmas seemed like some sort of hibernation and I swear all brain activity has ceased. So rather than dwell on my lack of creativity at the moment, I’ll try to look forward to when creativity may strike again. I think that’s what January is all about. A quick assessment tells us of what we need to do to make it a good year. On New Years Day, I checked out my horoscope. Did you know that the internet says you can predict your year based on Numerology(whatever that is), Junishi (A Japanese “science” based on animals), or even by blood type! I think I’ll stick to the stars, as they have been around forever and must contain the wisdom within. Virgo looks to have a busy year, apparently with no break in sight before 2013. Even better, Saturn is going to give me the go ahead to spend more money this year. How lucky am I to get permission from a planet millions of miles away to spend some hard earned cash! How could you negate the stars as they have been around practically forever? Despite the questionable science behind astrology , I’ll go with it. Apparently, when a Virgo finally says yes, our “laser-like focus of our passion is anything but prudish.” Yesterday, I got some moxie and went searching for some studio space. It just feels right. If I get the guts to bite the bullet, I can only hope my horoscope is spot on and I’ll be busy making something of this craft. I'll be looking to the stars for inspiration and I can only hope that they may look back down on me and help me to shine.
